Alexis Semmler is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in rural healthcare and emergency medicine. Her years on the front lines of patient care inspired a deep passion for mental health, functional medicine, and preventative care. Alexis founded ALYV Health to bring a modern, integrative approach to care—combining evidence-based medicine with functional and lifestyle therapies to help patients restore balance, energy, and long-term well-being.

As both a clinician and entrepreneur, Alexis is dedicated to reimagining the way healthcare feels. Brittany is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of nursing experience and a passion for helping individuals achieve better mental health and overall well-being. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Brittany worked as a registered nurse in the emergency room, long-term care, and outpatient clinic settings, providing care to patients across a wide range of healthcare needs.

Brittany’s clinical experience includes treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. She has a special interest in working with adolescents and postpartum mothers, and she strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard and empowered.

Brittany believes in a holistic approach to mental health care, considering lifestyle factors, therapy, support systems, and overall wellness when developing treatment plans. While medications can play an important role in psychiatric treatment, Brittany works collaboratively with patients to determine the most appropriate and individualized path forward.
